Advancing Global Clinical Standards: Key Insights from the EthOss China Tour

Dr. Peter Fairbairn recently concluded a landmark series of seminars and workshops across several of China’s most dynamic dental communities and universities with a focus on exploring the new world of regenerative dentistry.
This tour was a collaborative effort to align global clinical standards with the unique properties of synthetic material bone grafting, ensuring that practitioners have access to the most advanced regenerative tools available today.
The Journey in Review
Guangzhou University, 3rd December
The Tour began in Guangzhou with a lecture at Guangzhou Medical University exploring new ideas in dental bone regeneration through a clinical and scientific perspective. This lecture was highly academic and highlighted key topics in dental bone regeneration such as immune modulations, upregulated host bone regeneration and osteoinductive, next-generation synthetics.

Guangzhou Lotus Academy, 3rd December
Still in the city of Guangzhou, the tour continued to Lotus Dental Clinic where Dr. Peter Fairbairn delivered a lecture to highly experienced implant dentists showcasing various types of case studies and clinical experiences, protocol and techniques for EthOss.
Wuhan, 5th December
The EthOss team attended the academic annual meeting of Dentist Club China, delivering an insightful lecture themed ‘Regenerating Beyond Boundaries: Work with Hosts, Grow Stronger Together’. His sessions highlighted innovative regenerative dentistry techniques to a younger audience of dentists, encouraging further education of synthetic materials.

Chengdu University, 8th December
The journey continued in Chengdu, with two seminars, the first delivered being an intimate seminar for the implant department at the West China Hospital of Stomatology in the Sichuan University. This event centered on various types of clinical cases in dental implant treatments, with a variety of complex cases including PDS tent technology. Followed by a lecture to over 150 people at the Jincheng Yuanshe Hotel.


Shanghai, 11th December
Next, on December 11th, at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, a lecture on ‘New Ideas in Dental Bone Regeneration: Immune Modulation, Upregulated Host Bone Regeneration, and Osteoinductive Next-Generation Synthetics: A Clinical and Scientific Perspective’ was presented along with clinical cases to further evidence the progress in the field of bone regeneration science.

Nanjing, 12th December
A stop in Nanjing resulted in an additional speech open to the academic community of Nanjing and surrounding areas such as the Jiangsu Province, as well as the public alike. Hosted by the School of Stomatology in Nanjing Medical University, Dr. Fairbairn’s engaging lecture attracted a packed audience of dental professionals eager to learn about cutting-edge regenerative dentistry solutions.
Beijing, 13-15th December
Finally, Dr. Fairbairn spoke at the National Convention Center in Beijing on December 14th. His speech was part of the academic annual meeting of the Beijing Stomatological Association, in the academic session of the Dental Materials Specialty Committee. Exploring host healing and bone reconstruction, evaluating different types of graft materials, the development history, osteogenic principles and the usage techniques of EthOss were all covered within this insightful session.
