Peter Wheeler, managing director at Ethoss said: “Christmas may feel quite far away, but it’s coming round fast and we want to do something really special for our local hospital and their community this year.
“To be in hospital over the festive season must be incredibly hard, so we’re excited to be hosting a Christmas party for young patients on the Children’s Unit, as well as spending time in the afternoon with elderly patients. So, we’re appealing for donations of toys and gifts so we can spread some festive cheer.”
Laura Turner, Communications and Charity Assistant said: “We’re really grateful to the Ethoss team for getting involved with our gift appeal this year. It can be such a difficult time for our patients balancing feeling unwell over the Festive period with wanting to join in the celebrations.
“We’re so excited for the Children’s party, this will really help the patients get into the Christmas spirit.”
All items must be new and in original packaging for health and safety reasons.
