Celebrating Our Digital Marketing Apprentice
If you’ve noticed our social media channels evolving in style and substance lately, there’s a very specific reason for that.
For National Apprenticeship Week (NAW 2026), we are pulling back the curtain to celebrate the person behind the posts, our talented Digital Marketing Apprentice, Shannon Senior!
The theme for this year's National Apprenticeship Week is "Skills for Life," a concept that perfectly describes the journey of a digital marketer. By combining hands-on experience with structured learning, apprenticeships bridge the gap between theory and the real-world demands of the industry.
More Than Just "Posting to Social Media"
Our apprentice doesn’t just "post to Facebook", she plays a key role in driving our digital presence. Since joining the team, she has taken the lead on:
Content Creation: Designing visuals and copy that resonate with our target audience.
Social Media Management: Managing our community and engaging with followers in real-time.
Trend Analysis: Keeping our brand relevant in a rapidly shifting digital landscape.
In the last month alone, our social media presence has grown exponentially, with Instagram seeing a rise in interactions by over 28% and Facebook almost 27%.
Shannon is our third successful apprentice, with our Business Administrator apprentice Sam Holder, having won the Teamwork Award at the Illuminate Apprenticeship Awards 2025, during last year’s National Apprenticeship Week and has enjoyed a full-time position since last July.
As a business we are committed to growing our talent and nurturing young careers, which involves investing in taking on apprentices like Sam and Shannon.
