A young apprentice from Bingley has won a regional apprenticeship award in teamwork.
Sam Holder, 17, won the Teamwork Award at the Illuminate Apprenticeship Awards 2025, during National Apprenticeship Week.
Nominated for the award by his employer, Ethoss Regeneration Ltd, Sam received the accolade because of his curiosity, ability to take ownership and his fresh ideas to improve colleague wellbeing in the workplace.
Sam, also a student at Keighley College, said: “It was exciting to first be shortlisted for this award and going on to win was a huge surprise. I am really proud of myself for gaining this kind of recognition, it has really inspired me to keep pushing and growing my experience within the business.”
