The EthOss Academy have announced the latest in a series of free webinars for dental professionals from around the world.
During this webinar, Dr Dominic O’Hooley (UK) will be sharing his experiences of combining EthOss bone grafting material with densification burs (Densah) in crestal sinus lift procedures.
The discussion will include several case studies, showing how these techniques can be combined with immediate implant placement for successful results. Both bone level and tissue level cases will be shown.
Discussion will include:
• Overview of techniques and challenges in combining EthOss with Versah, this will also include the use of degranulation burs, flap design and suturing tips.
• Treatment protocol for immediate placement
• Case studies, discussing using these techniques in practice, showing both tissue and bone level implant cases.
• Achieving predictable results by careful case selection, tips for accurate implant positioning and how to ensure membrane integrity.
About the speaker:
BDS (Liverpool 1993), MFDS RCS (England 2001), MFDS RCPS (Glasgow 2018).
Dominic is a highly experienced implant dentist who has been placing and restoring dental implants for many years and undertakes all aspects including bone grafting, sinus surgery, guided bone regeneration and immediate full arch implant bridges. “I have a particular interest in working within the aesthetic zone, crestal sinus augmentation and immediate implant placements.”
Dominic lectures nationally and is involved closely with the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and International Team for Implantology (ITI), as well as teaching for The Campbell Academy. Dominic has recently completed formal writing assignments for the ADI including their recent Team Congress. “I also love to mentor my colleagues and find this to be an extremely rewarding part of my practice.”
