EthOss Regeneration Ltd has donated more than £900 to the National Trust, following a pledge to plant one tree for every ten boxes of EthOss® sold during February 2021.
The company ran the initiative throughout February in aid of the National Trust’s Plant a Tree programme, which aims to plant 20 million trees over the next ten years, to create beautiful green spaces for people and wildlife to thrive.
Sales of EthOss® led to £970 being raised towards the important cause which equates to 195 newly planted tree saplings.
Dr Paul Harrison, managing director at EthOss Regeneration, said: “We are thrilled with the amount raised for the National Trust from our sales during February this year.
“We care deeply about protecting the environment here at EthOss and our customers value the opportunity to contribute towards sustainability, too.
“The National Trust’s Plant a Tree programme has an important part to play in helping to reduce carbon emissions and creating new habitats for wildlife. We’re proud to have played a small part in this and would like to thank our customers for taking part, too.”
The initiative supports EthOss’s ongoing work to meet the UN’s 17 sustainability goals. In particular, goal 15, to: ‘Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.’
