The first-ever EthOss: QuestionTime event has taken place online, bringing together audiences from around the world for an exciting, interactive discussion with an expert panel of implantology specialists.
The event, which took place on 25 June, marked the first of a series of planned QuestionTime events delivered by EthOss.
The company’s co-founder, Dr Peter Fairbairn, led the panel alongside Dr Andrew Fish, Dr Dominic O’Hooley and Dr Riz Syed.
The audience submitted questions in advance, focusing on areas including grafting materials, implantology case studies and problem-solving, research and surgical techniques.
Dr Fairbairn, said: “Our inaugural QuestionTime event was a great success, with audience members around the world submitting questions about implantology to the panel.
“The interactive element and the live discussion format of the event is something that we know our audiences want – especially during these strange times – and the feedback we’ve received has been terrific.
“We’re thrilled to be engaging with the clinical community in this new and innovative way, bringing people four different perspectives from influential and inspiring panel members, and it’s really encouraging to see a new venture such as this being embraced so positively.”
Attendees praised the event’s structure, stating it was ‘very comprehensive’ and easy to follow.
Dr Fairbairn, added: “We were really pleased to hear such great feedback from the audience, which included all levels of expertise – from experienced practitioners through to graduate students. It’s great to know we’re playing a part in supporting the education and continual development of dentists at every stage of their career.
“We also had requests for future QuestionTime sessions to be longer and we’ve responded – the next event will be 90 minutes long, meaning we can include even more questions during the session.”
