EthOss honoured with Business Award from the Department for International Trade Portugal

EthOss attended the Department for International (DIT) Business Awards in Lisbon recently, where they were honoured to receive a Business Award from Chris Barton, Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Europe and Chris Sainty, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Portugal.

Hosted by the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) in Portugal, the DIT Business Awards event is an initiative to reward and publicly recognise the entrepreneurial effort of Portuguese companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as an investment destination, as well as British companies that have achieved success in Portugal. EthOss fit into the latter category, with the Business Award given in recognition of the large increase in exports the company has enjoyed to the market.

First launched in 2008, this year will mark the return of the DIT Business Awards – in its 12th edition – as the event was postponed in the last 2 years due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.

In this edition, out of the wide group of companies the DIT Portugal team supports, 34 businesses were awarded in recognition of their success.

The joint-Managing Directors of EthOss Regeneration, Dr Peter Fairbairn and Dr Paul Harrison, both attended the event at the British Embassy in Lisbon

Dr Harrison was delighted to receive the award: “Having won another award in recognition of International Trade, not long after taking home a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, is extraordinary.

“We have a positive and successful future ahead as we look to continue to get a strong foothold in both our established and emerging markets across the globe.  It was particularly pleasing to receive this award from the DIT who have been a great help in our expansion, particularly in Portugal.

“EthOss have expanded into more than 10 markets in the past year. Our team’s dedication, commitment and enthusiasm has been instrumental in getting us to this point.”
