EthOss® claims another major award for export

EthOss® Regeneration Ltd has added another award to its collection after it took home a highly competitive export award for companies based in the north of England.

The West-Yorkshire based dental company won at the PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards, held in association with HSBC, the Department for International Trade (DIT) and Chamber International.

The awards recognise the entrepreneurship and innovation of companies selling their products and services in overseas markets. Ten awards were presented to a variety of companies from the Northern Powerhouse which are successfully making the transition from local to global trade.

Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion, Baroness Fairhead, said: “I’d like to offer my congratulations to all the businesses shortlisted for this year’s awards. They have all contributed to the significance of the Northern Powerhouse to UK exports and the UK economy generally. Their export successes are genuinely inspirational.”

EthOss® Regeneration beat five other companies to the title thanks to an incredibly successful 2018 in terms of international growth with its primary product EthOss®, an innovative synthetic bone graft solution for dental implants.

The company recently announced it has smashed its export record for the fourth year running – confirming its position as one of the fastest growing dental companies in Europe.

Following the launch of EthOss® in 2015, the company has achieved rapid growth internationally – with the company’s primary product now being sold in 34 countries across the world, contributing to an increase in export sales of 282 per cent compared to 2017.

Dr Paul Harrison, Managing Director of EthOss® Regeneration, said: “The last 12 months have been absolutely phenomenal for the company. To have our achievements recognised by industry peers, government officials and export professionals, all of whom understand the commitment, skill and drive it takes to be a successful exporter, is really gratifying.

“The progress we have made in the export market over the last year has exceeded all expectations and now stands us in good stead for the next stage of our evolution as we look to continue to achieve growth at an even faster pace.”
