Synthetic dental bone graft firm, EthOss Regeneration, will be making its debut in Australia with a series of interactive seminars on the topic of working with host healing.
The company will showcase its groundbreaking synthetic bone graft technology at a series of events to be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane throughout May and June 2019.
Dr Peter Fairbairn, Clinical Director at EthOss, will be sharing his vast expertise in bone regeneration throughout each lecture, including numerous case presentations. Delegates will examine working with host healing and how it can be optimised using the novel synthetic particulate graft material, EthOss®.
EthOss is made from 65% Beta-Tri Calcium Phosphate and 35% Calcium Sulphate, materials that Dr Fairbain has used since 2002, in nearly 6,000 successful grafts.
The fully-synthetic material works with the body to create the ideal conditions for bone regrowth, without using animal or human content.
The Calcium Sulphate acts as a built-in barrier against soft tissue ingress, removing the need for an additional collagen membrane – a very popular feature– with dentists who often find collagen membranes difficult to handle and time-consuming.
The lectures include a hands-on practical session with guidance from Dr Fairbairn who is a Visiting Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in the USA and the principal Dental Surgeon at the Scarsdale Dental Clinic, London. Both clinical and animal-based studies will be shown, to exhibit the host response to the material.
All delegates will receive a free box of EthOss® (which includes three 0.5cc syringes) worth $667.59.
Delegates at the True Host Bone Regeneration Seminars will learn:
- To understand host healing of hard tissue and the regenerative process
- To value the importance of host hard tissues in the long-term stability of dental implants
- Assess the different types of particulate materials used in regeneration
- Evaluate the difference between GBR and True Bone Regeneration
Seminars will run from 8.30am – 4.30pm. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be served. Limited seats are available at each event. Tickets cost $999 per person.
