An international conference focused on the developing cosmetic dental industry is set to take place online, with a plethora of highly regarded experts in the field lined up as keynote speakers.
The 12th Dental Facial Cosmetic International Conference will be held virtually on 19-22 November 2020, and will gather dental professionals all over the world for an event with key opinion leaders from the dental community including Dr Peter Fairbairn from EthOss.
Dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, endodontics, paediatric dentists, periodontists, dental nurses and technicians can join the event via livestream sessions free of charge.
Dr Fairbairn, co-founder of EthOss, will lead a lecture at the conference on 19 November at 11 am to 11.45 am (GST) on the topic of true bone regeneration: working with host healing.
The learning objectives of the session include understanding host healing of hard tissue and the regenerative process, valuing the importance of host hard tissue in the long-term stability of dental implants, assessing the different types of particulate materials used in regeneration and evaluating the difference between GBR and True Bone Regeneration.
Dr Peter Fairbairn said: “This conference is a much-needed online opportunity for all dental professionals to immerse themselves in the industry and gain further understanding of the importance of the relations between the dental aesthetic and function.
“I am thoroughly looking forward to joining the livestream version of this year’s Dental Facial Cosmetic International Conference and leading a lecture on true bone regeneration which I hope will provide further insight into EthOss.”
Renowned implantologist and EthOss advocate Dr Costa Nicolopoulos – who has placed over 40,000 implants to date – will also lead a lecture at the congress on 20 Nov at 17:15 – 18:00 (GST) on the subject of optimising dental facial cosmetics with fewer grafts and site-specific implants. He will also cover the importance of less chair side time in the post Covid-19 era.
