EthOss Regeneration joined forces with UK distributor, Swallow Dental, at the ADI 2019 Team Congress in Edinburgh to host an insightful Corporate Forum event.
The successful session, with over 70 delegates present, was titled ‘Go beyond donor graft, artificial scaffolds and collagen membranes’ and looked at how dentists are increasingly moving away from traditional Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and embracing modern True Bone Regeneration (TBR) materials and techniques.
Dr Minas Leventis, Dr Peter Fairbairn and Dr Mukesh Soni presented their own cases and latest research findings in TBR.
Dr Fairbairn, said: “TBR really is the new standard in bone grafting so it was a fantastic opportunity to take part in the ADI Corporate Forum to showcase our research and experience in this area. Modern synthetic biomaterials give patients less chair time, less reported pain and quicker healing times so there are a lot of clear benefits for dentists to move to this more modern approach.
“The seminar was a great success. We were pleased to see so many delegates join us and we got some really useful feedback.”
This year’s ADI Congress was entitled ‘Shaping the Future of Dental Implantology: Techniques – Technology – Teamwork.’
Held bi-annually, the event is renowned as one of the foremost dental implantology meetings in Europe, bringing together internationally renowned speakers as well as technicians, nurses and practice managers, hygienists, therapists and students.
